In a swearing-in ceremony held on Jan. 26, Chief Chesley and the rest of the Mesquite Police Department welcomed a new patrol officer.
City Clerk, Tracy Beck performed the ceremony in front of Thatcher’s family and other department members.
Officer Thatcher is new to the community but brings years of police experience to the position.
