Mesquite’s Fine Arts Gallery and the Virgin Valley Artists have opened the February Exhibit, “Celebrating All Cultures” sponsored by the Women’s History and Culture Center.

The artwork for this exhibit will be on display now through Feb. 26.

Most of the exhibit winners have been chosen and ribbons awarded except for People’s Choice, Mayor’s Choice and Sponsor’s Choice. These winners will be announced during the reception which is scheduled for Feb. 24 from 4-6 p.m. The reception and awards ceremonies are free and open to the public. The public is invited, during the month, to vote on their favorite piece for the People’s Choice Award.

While you’re visiting the gallery don’t forget to check out the winning 2022 Mesquite Poster. The poster titled Milestones of Culture is created by Cheryl Sachse. Signed posters are available, all funds from the sale benefit help support the gallery’s low-cost classes, projects and events.

The Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery is operated by the VVAA. VVAA members provide the original artwork that is shown in the gallery and gift shop. All art is offered for sale and displays are changed monthly. In addition to the special exhibitions, members show their fine works in a wide variety of mediums.
