In the eastern part of the US, Punxsutawney Phil stretched, yawned, and scurried outside to grab a cup of groundhog java. The weather was a warm 40 degrees and the sun was shining bright in Gobbler’s Knob.
Phil’s shadow scared the bejeezus out of him and back inside he went. You know what that means. Folks in Mesquite will be looking forward to summer weather in a week or so but our friends and family back east will be seeing those chilly winter temperatures for about 6 more weeks.
