On Wednesday evening the Mesquite Police Department held their Third Annual Awards Banquet at the CasaBlanca showroom.
Police Officers and family members were able to enjoy a wonderful evening with family and friends.
The awards ceremony highlights the department employees who have gone above and beyond and recognizes the accomplishments of the individuals who are selected by their peers.
The MPD employees listed below received awards
Dispatcher of the Year- Carrie Roberts
Correction Officer of the Year- Hilda Rodriguez (not pictured)
Records Employee of the Year- Shawna Bennett (not pictured)
Animal Control Officer of the Year- Esteban Andrade
Police Officer of the Year- Justin Cheney
Supervisor of the Year- Animal Control Manager Joe Macias
Lifetime Achievement Award- Retired Commander CJ Larsen
