What happened in Vegas certainly isn’t staying in Vegas. What happened was a world-class competition and the VVETTEs were all in. They are coming home with some great news they don’t want to keep to themselves.
Congratulations go out to the VVettes who performed 4 routines at The World Class Dance (WCD) Competition today, March 5, in Las Vegas. They placed in all their categories winning a total of one platinum, two gold, and one silver medal. They also took “Judges Choice”
The team said, ‘Vegas has never seen anything like the VVETTES today!”
“WCD was created by directors with true passion and desire to provide an affordable opportunity for ALL DANCERS to attend a NATIONAL competition that is friendly, fun, and professional!! We realize that there are many choices out there, but WORLD CLASS DANCE is MORE THAN just a competition!!
It’s important to WCD that all Teams & Studios are recognized for their hard work and talent. Competing is one aspect of WCD, but supporting each other, working together, and cheering for each other is also important to WCD Nationals. It is the goal of WCD to inspire dancers to “Push their Limits” and do it with class.
WCD chose sunny Las Vegas as its host location because dancers will have opportunities in Las Vegas that are not offered anywhere else!! WCD provides MORE!!!… Take classes from top professionals in the field of dance, Attend incredible shows that you can’t see anywhere else, Epic shopping malls & Outlets, Tasty Buffets & Cultural Eating establishments!!” https://wcdnationals.com/about-us/
While in Vegas the team had the opportunity to sample some of the culture. They dined at the Hard Rock and attended the Michael Jackson Show; maybe they picked up a few ideas.
Yeah team, congratulations! You have worked hard, enjoy.
If you’d like to become a VVETTE, they are holding tryouts on March 25 beginning at 4 p.m.
For consideration and eligibility, you must turn in the required paperwork and attend the clinics prior to tryouts. Clinics are scheduled March 22, 23, and 24 from 4-6 p.m. Paperwork is due the first day of clinics.
There is a mandatory meeting for parents on March 14 at 6 p.m. at the High School’s old gym located at 820 Valley View Dr. The meeting is to provide information pertaining to the 2022-23 drill season and the tryouts.
On March 12, they and others are ready to show you what they’ve got. Don’t miss it when….
