Hi friends! Dr Joyce the Hope Doctor here. Since we last chatted lots of new things have happened. Firstly, I would like to thank those who have prayed for my vision. As of yet, my vision has not made any new improvements but I do appreciate your continued prayers and hope for a miracle.

As a certified crisis chaplain, I have been able to further spread my message of hope and help those in need. Twice weekly I run individual counseling sessions for troubled teen girls, helping these girls have a desire and hope for living. Additionally, I run two groups weekly at a local residential treatment center for struggling youth. In our groups we cover topics such as the power of positive affirmations, finding a true purpose for living, and suicide prevention. Youth have described these groups as “life-changing” and “eye-opening”. The struggling youth have expressed their gratitude for these groups and I am equally as grateful to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the community’s youth.

We have many exciting events coming up. I will be making another trip to speak at the Utah State Prison, and I have been permitted to give my requested books to the inmates. In addition, I have the opportunity to speak at a sober living facility. I plan to continue individual counseling sessions for the troubled teen girls and my group services at the residential treatment center.  I have also received an invitation to share my message of hope on a local television program. I am so grateful for these new opportunities and for your continued support. Prayers, love and special blessings to all.
