Mesquite, NV (August 16, 2022) — Shortly before 2:30am Mesquite Fire Rescue was dispatched to a business fire on Mesquite Boulevard.  Upon arrival crews could see flames coming out the roof and eves of the structure with heavy smoke.  It was reported by the facility manager that the business had been secured yesterday and no entry was made after that time.  Crews gained access through large rollup garage doors and immediately noticed that the structural integrity had been compromised.  A defensive attack was the safest option for the responding personnel and multiple hoselines were laid to fight the fire and protect the surrounding areas.  The fire burned for a few hours with a partial collapse before they were able to gain control.  No other structures became involved with this fire.  No injuries were reported.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
