My Life IS Mesquite
I moved to Mesquite in January 1995. The last 27 years have seen many changes. I love this town and believe today, as I did when I first chose Mesquite, that this is an amazing city with much to offer residents of all ages. I have raised my three wonderful children, McKenna, Madison and Tanner here in Mesquite. It has been one of the biggest joys of my life to watch my children grow to become involved in this community that I have loved and served for so long.
I have personally experienced much that the job market has to offer. I have combined 14 years of experience in the Title and Escrow industry. I have also served as Office Manager for two local Mesquite construction Companies. The experience and knowledge I learned from these industries led me to my current career as a Real Estate Agent at ERA Brokers Consolidated.
I am very active in the Mesquite community. I was a Member of the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors from 2007 through 2012 and served as their President during the last two years of my tenure. I have served on the City of Mesquite’s Citizen’s Advisory Committee for the Transportation Capacity Improvement Plan, Vice President of the Miss Nevada Scholarship Organization, 12 years on the Golf Fore Kids Golf Tournament Committee. I am currently a member of the City of Mesquite Master Plan Committee, Mesquite Rotary and MREA and have served on numerous other boards.
Sandra Ramaker has been a very effective advocate for Mesquite but it is time to put Karen on the Council. She should have been voted in when Annie Black won her seat. That was a huge mistake for the city as all Annie was interested in was promoting her career. I do not speak for Karen nor do I know her but I see her at every council meeting and I believe she will not use her position on the council to run for another office. No one does more for the city than Karen. She is at every fundraiser and charity event. Please Mesquite, put Karen on the council.
