LAS VEGAS — Lieutenant Governor Lisa Cano Burkhead and the Lieutenant Governor’s Office of Small Business Advocacy will put on a small business resource fair on Saturday, Aug. 27 starting at 10 a.m. at the A.D. Guy Center in Historic Westside Las Vegas.
The resource fair will be an opportunity for current and potential small business owners to meet with public and private partners to gain tips, tricks and tools to build or grow their small business.
This will be the third small business resource fair put on by Lieutenant Governor Cano Burkhead and the OSBA, after one in Las Vegas in June and another in Reno on Tuesday.

About Lieutenant Governor Lisa Cano Burkhead
Lisa Cano Burkhead is a first-generation Latina, the daughter of immigrant parents from South America who came to Las Vegas to find the American Dream. A lifelong educator, she spent 25 years working in Nevada public schools, first as a Spanish and English teacher and later as an administrator and principal.
As Lieutenant Governor, she is an advocate for the needs of public education and uses her position and platform to uplift the voices of students, educators and parents.
