Light a Candle
Remember Me Thursday September 22, 2022
Animal-lovers and animal welfare organizations across the globe will unite on Thursday (the fourth Thursday of September, annually) with a Remember Me Thursday™ pet candle-lighting ceremony. The candles, lit on the exact same day across the world, will honor the millions of pets who lost their lives without the benefit of a loving home and shine a light on the millions of healthy pets who are still awaiting adoption. The Remember Me Thursday global awareness campaign encourages individuals to light a candle this day (literally or virtually) and to opt to adopt, reducing the millions of orphan pets euthanized each year.
By lighting a candle on Remember Me Thursday you are remembering those pets that have lost their lives but you are also shining a light on orphan pets in need of homes right now.

Featured Dog- Bubba
Approx 4 months old Bubba loves to be included in everything. Whatever you’re up to he’ll be right there with you. He’d make the perfect companion for someone looking for an active lifestyle, and at the end of the day he makes the perfect cuddle buddy. We found him as a stray and would love to help him find his perfect home. “I’m quite stunning, if I do say so myself, but looks aren’t everything! In my new home, I’ll love you like no other. I love to play with toys, I am doing well with leash walking but being with people is my favorite thing .”
Other available dogs
Toby – 2 year old German Shepherd. High energy. Very attentive and wanting to learn and please people.
Featured cat (s) Naveah & Nitelite

Bonded pair Naveah (6 years old) and Nitelite (4 ½ years old) are mother and daughter looking for a home together! These beautiful ladies were surrendered by their owner due to a change in life circumstances, and they’re anxious to get back to a home environment. Naveah outgoing and will come when called. Loves being petted. Nitelite is sweet but shy and will hide BUT she loves attention and petting. We’re hoping for a quiet home where we can sit on the sofa with you and warm up your bed. Spend some time with us so you can see how great we truly are.
We would love to be adopted together if possible but would be happy if we each found a special home, but they can be adopted separately.
